My novel, OFF TRACK, has been accepted and will be published by Lilley Press.
Here's a description of OFF TRACK:
At 12 years old, Gary Sanderson found himself in the oppressive juvenile detention facility for boys called "Radcliffe". But at 16, he has a chance to start over in a new town with his foster parents, Don and Gail Morgan. He hopes to build a new and "normal" life, but his past catches up as the problems of a small town erupt all around him. These problems spin out of control when the girl he loves asks him one question: "Will you kill my father?" It is a character study of a boy, shaped by abuse and burdened with the death of his father, trying to survive in a world he hadn't expected to find."
It's about 90,000 words.

My short story, INFESTED, has been accepted for "Twisted Tongue" magazine #9. It's a creeped out story about a man whose wife has been infested with something he can't recognize, causing her to change into something sinister. I'll post a link to the magazine, due out in 2008.

A short story, BLESSED TOMATOES, has been accepted for a new anthology: BLACK INK HORROR #4. See http://www.blackinkhorror.com for more information. From the publisher, Timothy Manning:
"I really loved this story as it represented the type of original, quirky, unsettling fiction that I like to run. Your story was very well written, and the idea hooked me from the get go. I love stories that don't quite fit a set mold, and "Tomatoes" is in a category all it's own. The tattoo scene in the basement really set the mood for how off-kilter and disturbing this story would be. Your descriptions were excellent, and I still can't get the line "It tasted like raw meat and fried onions" out of my head. It makes me want to puke every time I read it. Anyhow, great story; I'd like to print it in BIH #4.
Many thanks for sending this one my way; it's a perfect fit. "
